The playoff picture is shaping up as the regular season nears the final month, and with only 8 spots in each conference, we examine the ongoing fight between teams that are near and below the playoff cut line. To meet our (fake) Accounting credit requirements, we wade into the shallow end of the suspenseful and mysterious NBA salary cap system.
