Abigail Secran tells us that 2 years ago their family was expecting a baby boy. Prior to her son, David, being born her older daughter, Lily, said she would want this new sibling to be named "Sunshine." David (AKA: Sunshine) was born with a heart defect, as well as down syndrome. The idea of doing Sunshine Boxes came to Abigail as she was browsing Pinterest.
