Operation Healthy Hearts is located in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California. The founder, Jackie Hererra, has decided that no matter how difficult life might be (including herself being homeless) there are others who maybe have it worse off, and she wanted to help them! Jackie started Operation Healthy Hearts in early 2014.Operation Healthy Hearts involves bridging the gap between low income & homelessness for local families (in Los Angeles, California) and teaching the importance of practicing compassion towards others & personal wellness.You'll hear in our interview about how prior to Operation Healthy Hearts, she created a program called "Healthy Girls."
