Michael Liimata, one of the co-founders of Connecting for Good is the guest of this week's episode of Generosity Philosophy. Connecting for Good is a nonprofit organization that has been bridging the Digital Divide since 2011 using wireless Internet, community technology centers, low cost refurbished PCs and free digital life skills classes. Michael mentioned was the Director of Education for the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions. While he was with the association, they began to use the internet to help those running the shelters. He's now the academic Dean of a college called City Vision College. Connecting For Good helps provide internet to folks by providing at a significant discount refurbished computers (including laptops) to people who cannot afford a full-priced computer.
