On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) brought in Jim Biringer(@JimBiringer) of Full Press NHL to the show as he was in the press box for Thursday night's game as the Panthers lose to the New Jersey Devils 3-1 on the second end of a back-to-back. Florida switched their lines up putting Eetu Luostarinen at the third line center, something we don't see much since Paul Maurice took over. Panthers scored less than two minutes into the game after a beautiful move from Brad Marchand to create a shooting lane, and Evan Rodrigues cleaning it up after the initial save, but the Panthers got nothing more after that. Power play conintued to struggled as they also gave up breakaway chances as New Jersey was coming out of the box on multiple occassions. Daniil Tarasov kept the Panthers in the game, especially having eyes on the Devil's stars throughout the night, although Hughes eventually beat him on the PP and Meier off a redirection, Tarasov stood tall in net.
