The North American Treaty Organization (NATO) turns 70 this week. Back in April 1949 representatives from Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal & the US signed the agreement to deter an armed attack against them all. Some are saying we need NATO now more than ever.
