Synopsis
Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Today's shout-out goes to Joseph Golden from Pontotoc, MS. Thank you for your partnership with us through Project23. Your commitment is helping deliver God’s Word with clarity and conviction. This one’s for you. Our text today is Judges 7:9-11. That same night the LORD said to him, “Arise, go down against the camp, for I have given it into your hand. But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp with Purah your servant. And you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp.” Then he went down with Purah his servant to the outposts of the armed men who were in the camp. — Judges 7:9-11 It’s the night before the battle. Gideon’s 300 face an enemy described in verse 12 as “like locusts in mass.” The tension is thick. Fear is natural. And God knows it. So He meets Gideon where he is — not with a lecture, but with reassurance: “I have given it into your hand.”
