Diane Ashley, the Grief Helper

Informações:

Synopsis

"My name is Diane Ashley and my son drowned 8 years ago. From that experience I wrote the book How to Help Someone Who is Grieving." This book was written to help people understand how to support family and friends, who have suffered a trauma.  It also contains information to help grievers understand what they are going through.   Why the book is important: Because the contents are supported by real-life of stories individuals hurt by others’ actions/words.  Because a brief overview of serious emotional difficulties caused by grief, are included.  Because it is written by someone who has both a counseling degree, and personal experience in this arena.  Reviewer’s shared: “I was able to relate to this book both as the person suffering the grief and having to help people I care about with their grief. It is right on the mark!!!!” “The stories of other people’s behavior are shocking. This book will fill a gap in educating people about their own actions and about how to treat those in grief.”
