About Gaby Casadesus She has taught French, Humanities, French Diction and French vocal repertoire to singers at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia for nearly 30 years.  She was President of the Alliance Française de Philadelphie for nearly 10 years and has been President of the Fontainebleau Associations for 25 years: the stateside support group which helps organize and finance the summer Music and Fine Arts program at the Château de Fontainebleau. The French Government awarded Therese the Palmes Académiques in recognition of her teaching activities, and, in 2001, she was named to the rank of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres on account of her efforts on behalf of Franco-American cultural affairs.
