A West Clare community has expressed outrage following a spate of anti-social behaviour over the bank holiday weekend. On Monday morning, a number of trees were found to be destroyed at a recreational green space in Kilkee known locally as Allender's Field while ripped tents,broken glass bottles and cans of nitros gas were also found discarded at the site. While constituents also reported incidents of people shooting airsoft pellets at passers-by from cars. Former Kilkee Councillor Cillian Murphy insists bye-laws in the town need to be urgently revised to wipe out the behaviour.
