A trade idea thrown out there that could land the Pirates an exciting outfielder. PG columnist Jason Mackey joined the show. Jason doesn’t think a deal for Luis Robert Jr. would happen for the Pirates end and talked about which prospects could be in play. Jason talked about what Ben Cherington needs to figure out ahead of the deadline. Jason suggested something for Jack Suwinski and if there’s any way he can be fixed. He got into how some hitters got better elsewhere, outside of Pirates coaching, but why changes aren’t coming to that staff anytime soon. Jason thinks Derek Shelton is getting “strongly advised” by the front office when he puts the lineup together.
