He recalls an incident in the Las Vegas area of Nevada where he was injured during a violent cell extraction and forced medication routine with an inmate. This attack left him with lifelong disabilities, ending his career in corrections. Tim Santoro is our guest. Tim spent seven years working in a psychiatric detention center, gaining insights into the intersection of mental health, substance abuse, and the justice system. He was instrumental in developing the facility's intake unit and managed it for two years. Currently, he works as an independent security contractor and consultant.
