In looking at a theme of love regarding hospitable acts in two New Testament passages from Luke, we see a kind of love that surprises us and refutes our expectations. A love that Jesus calls us to, when we love our neighbor as ourselves. When we feel lost or that Christianity can be too complicated, let us look at love from a new perspective.
