To be a people who grow in the ministry of intercessory prayer we must be a people of the book. Humbly coming to the book with open hands and open hearts asking God to reveal himself to us and to strip us of our tendency to read haphazardly, dispassionately, and unexpectantly. We must be a people of the word. And in tandem with being a people of the word, we must also be a people who are continually being filled with the Spirit.
