The first four words of The Apostles' Creed immediately forge a wedge between our confession of faith in God and the world's denial of God's existence. "I Believe" is a statement of trusting in God, placing your confidence in, and allegiance to, God. God is the source of all life, he is powerful and personal, and he is sovereign over all creation. We see all of this in this week's section of  the creed which reads, "I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth."We encourage you to memorize the creed and make it part of your devotional life.
