Ethereal Skies have recently announced their new venture from a club night that now covers the areas of a mix series and label too. Their inaugural label release is titled 'Aerga' which translates to 'the air or the ether' as Gaeilge, comprising of 21 track contributions from a vast range of Irish and international artists from Dublin and afar in an attempt to platform compelling avant-garde electronic music. Aerga Volume 1 is a project planned and developed to traverse the soundscape of alternative club sounds through local Irish artists and friends, the vision of what the Ethereal Skies platform seeks to present to the world musically comes to life. Aerga is a sonic journey that defies genre boundaries, contrasts new school with the old school, and presents the dysfunctional possibilities of electronic music.
