I just fell in love with it really. I felt like the company understood me. As if they were designing a piece of software based on how I think when I’m on stage. At this point it dawned on me that I was never a DJ. I was a performer. I only DJ’d because it was the logical thing to do when you make music of our nature. But ableton came along and re-wrote the rules for me. I felt like a new world opened up…A world I called “remixing on the fly”. The bottom line is this…I respect good DJs…Hell, I even like to DJ from time to time myself. For instance, I wouldn’t even think about bringing my laptop, controller etc to a party in the desert. I’d much rather replace burned CD
