Then after retiring he worked as a plainclothes narcotics investigator for the State, Became a Police Chief and author. Bruce Borkovich is a retired Michigan DNR Conservation Officer. As part of his duties in that line of police work, he became a detective and worked undercover to gain evidence against some of Michigan's biggest and most violent wildlife criminals. He talks about the life threatening situations he was exposed to and the skills that he developed as an undercover officer. After retiring as a Michigan DNR Conservation Officer, he immediately went to work for several years as a plainclothes investigator for a State Narcotics Police Unit.
