Activists have pulled up the Byculla zoo authorities for some reckless spending. They claim that over Rs. 50 crores have been spent on enclosures for animals that are lying vacant. Lions, Otters and Wolves were supposed to be procured after the spends, but the animals are nowhere in sight.
