Alison Delgado, Author, My Race for Life: Finding New Strength After Tragedy. Delgado grew up here in Cincinnati and graduated class valedictorian from Colerain High School, where she was a member of the four-time state champion cross country team.  2010 Delgado was hit by a car while cycling. Having suffered a traumatic brain injury and aneurysms that required surgery and intensive rehabilitation therapy, Delgado returned to the sport she loved.
