God is Holy, but has always yearned to share His Holiness with man. Whatever and whomsoevr God sets apart for Himself is declared Holy. Jesus Christ of Nazareth became God's Holiness in the flesh and when we come to Him and make Him the Lord of our lives, we are declared saints in Him.
