The fact the enemy attacks us shows us that we matter. If we weren't a threat to him he wouldn't bother with us. We are anointed for certain battles and destinies. The battles we have are because we are opposed by by whatever we are anointed for. We are anointed for something. We are anointed to be a gateway and an access point for the world to encounter the Kingdom of God.
