Synopsis

At least the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs tried, right? Both of the NBA's Conference Finals matchups have been duds. Zaza Pachulia ruined any chance the Spurs had of being competitive with the Golden State Warriors, while the Boston Celtics just don't have a chance in H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks of keeping pace with the Cleveland Cavaliers—particularly after losing Isaiah Thomas for the rest of the year with a hip injury. Fortunately, we still have a Cavaliers-Warriors NBA Finals rubber match to emotionally invest in. And the Cavaliers have proved they are ready for the Warriors even more so than last year. It doesn't matter that Kevin Durant is on the team this time around. Cleveland's demolition of the Eastern Conference speaks to the higher brand of competition that awaits us in the championship round. Nothing could go wrong. Right? RIGHT? YOU GUYS???? The Hardwood Knocks bros break it all down for you—from the future of the Celtics, to the need for the NBA Finals to be a transcedent affair. As always
