Women in ministry is not an easy topic. Thousands of books have been written on the subject. In this message, Lead Pastor Jamie Nunnally gives a Biblical defense of why our church ordains women and allows them to preach. Three things you should know:1.  Men and women equally bear the image of God (Genesis 1:27) and are equal heirs of salvation in Christ (Galatians 3:28).2.  In Ancient Greek, the word for man and husband are the same, and woman and wife are the same. 3.  The Bible is written from a patriarchal perspective, because it was written in a patriarchal culture. Old TestamentMiriam – prophet (Exodus 15:20) Deborah – church government/administration (Judges 4-5) Huldah – teacher/prophet (2 Kings 22:11-20) These were exceptions – almost all leadership was male.
