As we wrap up a month filled with fantastic guests, we highlight one in particular...Ted Barrett. We’ve had all types of leaders on this podcast. And athletes. And ministers and pastors. There have been numerous PHDs. But Ted Barrett falls under all of those categories, not to mention he is someone who has taken a punch from the likes of George Foreman and Mike Tyson. He’s a leader, an athlete, a minister, a legend in the game of baseball. Let’s sum it up this way and call him Reverend Doctor Crew Chief. Ted Barrett’s big league umpiring crew spanned from 1994-2022. He worked 33 playoff series, is the only ump in history to work the plate for two perfect games and be on the field for three.
