Emily Bell McCormick: While the Policy Project is best known for our work on The Period Project, which provides free access to period products to all of Utah’s K-12 students in public and charter schools, we are continuing our work to end period poverty with the launch of the global Period Positive Workplace. Eight out of ten women have started their period unexpectedly in public without the products they need. Businesses and organizations that become “Period Positive Workplaces” support our female workforce by providing period products for employees and patrons.
