She's just a real human trying to make real change.Cat Besch is the Founder and CEO of Vietnam Animal Aid and Rescue (VAAR), a 501c3 nonprofit operating in Hoi An, Vietnam since 2013. She opened the first nonprofit veterinary clinic and the only farm sanctuary in the country. VAAR runs a sanctuary for dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, and hedgehogs as well as projects for community outreach, sterilization and vet training programs, and vegan education programs for children and animal rescue groups.
