Bad Boys, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard with a Vengeance. Of all the great buddy-cop comedies, Lethal Attraction is the only one where the cops ended up in an explicit sexual relationship. This commentary sees Sheridan recall the Chicago haddock smugglers of the 90s, using a real-life gun maniac, and finally addresses, once and for all, whether Barry and Ambrose actually ‘did it’ in the film’s famous love scene.
