First, I (Nicholas) would like to apologize to everyone who reads these show notes because Spotify had recently and *without our authorization* been inserting donation links into them. They claim it was a bug but who knows. I am not exaggerating when I say I was pretty annoyed when I discovered that.John then calls out Teddy Baldassarre's team for wanting to pay us to swap a set of affiliate links we have on the site for links of their own. This was news to me when John brought it up (he handles the business stuff when it comes to the site itself), but is another example of something we talk about all the time: Is all of this *watch stuff* journalism? Is it mere content for your social media feeds? Does anyone else care about this
