GREGORY TODD: Over the last year, energy development and where we get our energy have become more important than ever. It’s easy to forget about the work that goes into keeping our lights on and our homes armed against extreme temperatures, but without the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, we would all be in the dark. Skyrocketing energy costs affect the low and middle classes the most, and we owe it to them to do our best as a state to keep energy affordable and reliable.
