When The Good Shepherd seeks a shepherd after His own Heart. When the first king of Israel fails to obey the Lord fully, God seeks for a king after His own heart. David was anointed as a boy but needed to be raised up to be king. Through many trials David learned how to trust in the Lord and to Shepherd the flock of God.
