In her role as Managing Director of Programs at PowerMyLearning she leads the strategic planning and development of capacity-building programming for educators and families.  Emily is committed to advancing equitable educational outcomes by elevating family voice and helping teachers and leaders leverage the strengths of their students’ families. She has a BA in Mathematics from New York University and a Masters in Secondary Education from UNC Chapel Hill. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and two teenaged children and enjoys reading fiction, petting dogs, and drinking coffee.
