Today we premiere a debut label release from Dublin DJ and producer, OAKLEE. The up and coming producer has been feverishly honing his craft under the watchful eye of Dublin Don, Pusher in Camden Academy. Glasgow based label Sounds of Lava Lava continues its fine run of form with four sublime house cuts from Finglas producer OAKLEE. It’s hard to believe this is Aaron Shaw’s debut release under his OAKLEE moniker; his deftly produced tracks intertwine club-focussed elements, resonant bass lines, deep grooves and delicate melodies. Back Against The Wall is a perfect showcase of Aaron’s style & influences. The title track Back Against The Wall, which we premiere today opens the EP straight into the dance floor, with bouncing bass, driving percussion and sweeping pads.
