No Place to Pitch a Tent

Synopsis

No Place to Pitch a Tent: Today's Gospel reminds us who it is that we are following to a cross. The transfiguration indicates that the suffering Son of Man is also the Messiah, the Son of God. Chosen disciples are witness to this truth, and they would like to bring Jesus' journey to death to an end by making tents,to hold this moment. Christian life cannot just "pitch a tent" - the journey to Jerusalem, and to the glory of death and resurrection must be completed. Presented by world-renowned biblical scholar Rev. Professor Francis J. Moloney SDB AM, Audio Divina, is a Lectio-Divina styled reflection on the gospel for 2nd Sunday of Lent, Year A.
