Anthony is from Royersford, PA, and went to Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. He majored in accounting and played on the ice hockey team. During his junior year, he became to screenwriter. Since that time, he has written six feature-length scripts and a TV pilot. Recently, he was awarded Best First Feature Film for The Ruggieros, which recently premiered at the Malibu Film Festival. He wrote, directed, produced, and edited the film. He also worked as a production assistant on the feature film Annihilation of Self which is currently in post-production. Many from the South Philly area may be familiar with his last name because he is related to the Lerro Candy Company.
