Synopsis

Fewture and Freddie Glitch met in class in Amsterdam in 2011 and realized that apart from their shared obsession with music and nightlife, they both loved finding and exchanging new music, and really digged each others sounds. Fewture joined Freddie’s booking agency, Mother Music, and they started doing gigs together. They also started working on tunes soon after, when they stepped into Fewture’s studio in Amsterdam in 2012 for what proved to become a solid collaboration. Up until that point Fewture had been making more dub, old school and techno influenced tunes, while Freddie’s focus was more on nudisco and Chicago & San Francisco deep house. They found a common middle ground and started creating a new sound together. The creative match showed in the studio, where a smooth collaboration and a mix of influences led to a series of tunes that were received well and got support from the likes of Pete Tong, Kry Wolf, Jamie Trench, Crazy P, Quinten 909 and Marlon Hoffstadt.
