Matthew 16:24-26 Then Jesus said to his disciples, if any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. Verse 25, If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it.  But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it. Verse 26, And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?     A lot of people have a false idea of what Christianity is. They believe the church is full of hypocrites. Of course, it is, we are all human and so, though we try to live a life close to how Jesus would, we do fail. Some fail way more than others and it gives a false idea of what Christianity is supposed to be like. People think they have given up having fun. No, not giving up having fun, it just might be giving up a life of fun things that go against the teachings of the Bible. Don't think these things have to happen overnight.
