We live and learn or we just exist. We know Jesus' teaching always begins with His Word. As He sows His Word, or plants the seeds of truth into our hearts, there are results in our response. Actually, there are blessings or consequences. Growth is essential to move us closer to where we need to be. Just as the soils are mentioned here in Matthew 13, there are different responses to what we do with God's Word. Three things must happen when God is teaching and we are hearing and heeding. First the truth must take root in our heart, be cultivated, and permitted to bear fruit. Notice in this parable, three fourths of the seed did not bear fruit. For us to be changed through a "Valued Lesson", some things have to take place. This morning we will cover three actions required for us to use God's Word, learn and live through faith, and for us to be obedient,.
