Jack Panda Speaks

Informações:

Synopsis

#JackPandaSpeaks I used to keep a private audio diary on a voice recorder during my travels. I have decided it is time to share my daily process with you all in an audio vlog/podcast format. They call me Panda because I love hugs, I am very black and white, and I have the tendency to see both sides of the coin at once. These audio vlogs are unedited, raw, in the moment feelings and thoughts. They will sometimes take us on an amazing journey, and others will be heady rambles that go no where... but that is the risk of embracing the unknown! My aim is 365 days!

Episodes

  • Empathising with our childhood!

    15/10/2019 Duration: 10min

How often do we judge ourselves and others for behaving in a "bad" way? Can we see beyond the behaviour and empathise with it's origin? Today I touch on childhood and how it shapes us, where my jealousy comes from, the Oedipus complex, empathy for a murderer, and feeling resentment/gratitude towards our parents. We cannot change our childhood, but we can change the way we see it! --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jackpandaspeaks/message

  • The unhelpful hand of kindness!

    10/10/2019 Duration: 09min

How often do we assume someone needs help without asking, and then get rejected and feel unappreciated? This morning it happened to me, which was frustrating in the moment, although in return it fueled my run and topic on here. Today I share my thoughts on how helping can be counterintuitive, the assumption that helping is always benevolent, personal somatic reflections, mirorring that takes place in our relationships, the bonding process and relationship with my brother, dissatisfaction and letting go of perfectionism. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/jackpandaspeaks/message

  • Continuity rather than Quantity!

    08/10/2019 Duration: 10min

I made a mistake today, I said it is episode 6 instead of episode 7. That's ok, can we be ok with our imperfection? Today I touch on doing less more often, speaking truth in the workplace, emotional implosion, vulnerability as a strength, community support, accountability, and reaching out for help. We have this limited belief that we must learn from others, but is that entirely true? Today I touch on the creative process, being ok with failing, trusting beyond yourself, mystical experience via creativity, getting out of our heads, embracing the unknown and building confidence. Andrea touches on the following topics during the podcast: How daily meditation & self-awareness practice can lead you to living a more conscious lifestyle and in line with one’s core values. Is change something vital and organic in life to keep oneself refreshed & driven? What is social anxiety and how common is it in today’s world?
