You could probably guess, but watch the episodes along with us on Hulu and join in on the fun in the comments. Take a listen below or subscribe to us on iTunes to find out! • Twilight Highlight Zone - Season 5, Episodes 1-5

    23/06/2014

After taking a few well-deserved (???) weeks off, Ben Hanson and I are back with our Twilight Highlight Zone podcast. If you're new to this thing, we're watching all of The Twilight Zone sequentially, and recapping our thoughts for you, the listening public. This week, we begin our trek into the show's fifth and final season. I'll just get this out of the way: This is a great block of episodes. They include stories about robotic boxers, magical stopwatches, and a very handsome boy who hangs out on airplane wings. I may have spoiled that with the image above. Sorry. I also spoiled the intro of this podcast with a nightmarishly terrible intro. Hanson said he'd fix it in post. I guess he's not a magician.  As always, we appreciate your comments. If you like what you hear (aside from our AMAZING intros), subscribe to us on iTunes. 1. In Praise of Pip 2. Steel 3. Nightmare at 20,000 Feet 4. A Kind of Stopwatch 5. The Last Night of a Jockey

  • Twilight Highlight Zone - The Franklins For Season 4

    05/05/2014

The fourth season of The Twilight Zone was a long, wild ride. The hour-long format had a couple of surprising highs and some fully expected lows. Jeff Cork and I are here with a handful of fresh categories to give out with our "annual" Franklins awards for the episodes that really stood out. Which episode is the best? Which character was the worst? Which beloved "death ship" is most deserving of the name?! Learn all of that and more in the full podcast episode below or listen to it on iTunes. Be sure to let us know in the comments below what you thought of this season of the podcast and what you'd like to see in the future!

  • Twilight Highlight Zone - Season 4, Episodes 16-18

    28/04/2014

We end our look at Twilight Zone's fourth season with a cluster of appropriately bizarre episodes. My buddy Ben Hanson and I talk about space colonies, spooky boats, William Shakespeare, and more in our podcast. This is the final block of episodes from the show's hour-long experiment. For season five, the show reverted to its traditional 30-minute format. After sitting through some of the duds from this season, that change couldn't have come soon enough. How do these final three episodes fare? Tune in and find out. You can listen to the podcast below or subscribe on iTunes. In the next podcast , we'll be hosting our fourth episode of The Franklins, our prestigious awards ceremony. We'll cover the usual categories like Best Episode and Best Performance, but we'll have more than a few silly ones as well. Do you have any suggestions for awards? Let us know in the comments, and we'll give you a shout if we use yours! This podcast covers the following episodes from Twilight Zone's fourth season: 16. On Thurs

  • Twilight Highlight Zone - Season 4, Episodes 13-15

Jeff Cork and I are nearing the end of the longest and penultimate season of The Twilight Zone! We have six episodes to go before we can look back at season four and have a good laugh. This batch of episodes features Jack the Ripper, horrible makeup, and some dumb kid on a lamp post. You can listen to the podcast below or subscribe and leave a review on iTunes. The podcast above covers the following episodes from the fourth season... 13. The New Exhibit 14. Of Late I Think of Cliffordville 15. The Incredible World of Horace Ford

  • Twilight Highlight Zone - Season 4, Episodes 10-12

    14/04/2014

If you've been watching The Twilight Zone along with Ben Hanson and me, this last block of episodes probably brought back flashbacks to some of the show's earlier offerings. Listen as we go back in time, visit outer space, and dream our brains out. I won't give too much away, but woof. Where's Robert Duvall when you need him? Our show's available on iTunes, too, so feel free (and encouraged!) to subscribe and rate us. This podcast covers the following episodes from the show: 10. No Time Like the Past 11. The Parallel 12. I Dream of Genie

  • Twilight Highlight Zone - Season 4, Episodes 7-9

    07/04/2014

Jeff Cork and I are continuing our trek through every episode of The Twilight Zone. We've tackled episodes 1-3 and 4-6 in previous podcasts, now we are knee-deep in the fourth season and have finally encountered our first hour-long gem. Which of these three episodes stand out as excellent and which contains an unexpected amount of jaguars? Only one way to find out: listen to us blather on about this old show! You can listen to the podcast below or subscribe and leave a review on iTunes. In this episode we cover the following episodes from the fourth season... 7. Jess-Belle 8. Miniature 9. Printer's Devil

In this new episode, Ben Hanson and I tackle a new batch of episodes from the show, covering such exciting topics as telepathy, interplanetary exploration, and the return of one of the Twilight Zone's favorite historic figures. Seriously, what is it with those guys and Hitler? Let us know what you think of the show in the comments, and feel free (and encouraged) to rate and subscribe to us on iTunes. The podcast above covers the following episodes from the fourth season. 4. He's Alive 5. Mute 6. Death Ship

  • Twilight Highlight Zone - Season 4, Episodes 1-3

    24/03/2014

After a brief hiatus, we're back! Jeff Cork and I are watching and discussing each and every episode of The Twilight Zone and we've made it up to the radical fourth season. The classic show changed its format from the typical thirty minute episodes to an hour-long for this season and so we are changing things on our end by taking a deeper dive into only three episodes at a time. You can listen to the podcast below or subscribe and leave a review on iTunes. In this episode we cover the following episodes from the fourth season... 1. In His Image 2. The Thirty-Fathom Grave 3.
