What about the caste system? Am I free from it after receiving the Lord Jesus Christ? Our Indian/Asian culture can be very complicated. We who have been set free by the Lord Jesus can sometimes be led into errors by our culture. Our faith should always supersede our cultural views. The Lord has made it very clear to us that we should give ourselves to the fellowship with the fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. We need the fellowship of God's people to grow in our faith.   Hebrews 10:24-25 Matthew 28:16-18 1 Peter 2:4-5

Part 2: The Contentment    The poverty and desperate circumstances are real; however, we also need to understand that in Christ, we have everything we need. We must find our contentment in Christ and not in the false dreams sold by the prosperity preachers. The Christians in the West should also be aware and be sensitive about the desperation of the poor believers in the third world countries. There are many out there who are contemplating on taking their own lives as they feel they have come to the end of their journey. Let me encourage you by saying, there is hope.
