Pod Fiction

This episode isn't about anything in particular. If you listen all the way through you will hear that we are taking a break from the podcast for a few months to finish out the worst year in history trying to wrap our heads around our unpredictable futures. We will be back though, don't forget about us.  When writing the descriptions of each episode I always realize that there was much more I wanted to say about something. This time its - we fucking love doing this, we really do. We love that some random people listen to us rant and tangent about nothing and also stuff. I personally will probably binge all 100 episodes prior to our return, that's how much I love this shit.  Yeah, I said 100 episodes. This is our 100th episode if you add them all up. That's saying something for us twoze. Two guys that start a million projects and never finish any of them. A couple friends that really cant create anything new except bad habits. Those two dudes started a podcast and released one hundred fucking episodes. What the

Let us begin by saying that we are somewhat flaky but also, not. We will sometimes miss episodes and no that was not an apology because we are too proud for that. Life happens as Remington says, and we're a few that roll with the punches. Or kicks.  Its becoming clear that we are not fans of the republican party. Is that what bias is? Its funny that the debate happened after this recording. Let me be clear - its funny to me only. The irony of only being allowed into Mexico is fucking astounding. Of all the people in the world, THEY still want us. But we don't want them? Sure, starving to death sounds cool.  Pain is irrelevant in past tense, unless, if when you remember an incident in which pain was relevant and that memory brought the physical discomfort of the pain you felt to fruition once again in the now. Starting out by feeling sorry for our selves actually lead to the realization that attention is a drug and all we want is to be loved. We do. I mean us, the 2 of us. The guys with the ever changing opinions that sometimes articulate differently than we would like them to because we believe every body deserves equal rights regardless of how often we use words that we shouldn't and talk about people we know nothing about. The hardest part of trying to explain the episode to you is remembering what we talked about. Pretty sure there is a lot about afterlife and religion. Don't put too much stock into the title of our episodes, we can never really tell if it makes sense or not.  There 's a lot going on right now. Not like that's a surprise. Never a dull moment. The end of civilization as we know it is upon us. Lots of rights being violated in certain parts of the country - like Portland. There are 800,000 active duty police officers employed in the United States. The most ever. Federal "secret" police are running around kidnapping people for exercising their 1st amendment rights, with plans to make a presence in other parts of the country. Pandemics. Climate change. Capitalism. #teachers. We rant and tangent about it all. I think. We are gonna take a turn from our normal chit chat on an upcoming episode, so stay tuned for that! Man...... does anyone read this shit?  Its hard to describe the direction this one took. We talk about a lot of shit. Follow smart people, protect innocent people, quit exploiting people.  And then subconscious and all that we don't know about that because trying to sound smart once a week is exhausting. Can't really summarize something we never remember saying because of severe manic anxiety. What did I just say?     

The 4th of July. A day for fireworks, family, food, beer and fun. Except for this year, this year its about alcohol only. Well, and racism. With that being said, take this episode with a few grains of salt, we were nursing hangovers as all of you should have been. It was Sunday, give us a break.  Until white people are held accountable for the same things POC are, we can't really be celebrating everybody's independence. Not everybody is free. Sometimes it seems like the stupidity in this world is focused on the United States. The ignorance regarding masks, black lives matter, protesting/rioting or defunding the police runs deep in our society making it difficult not to make fun of almost everybody in a comment section. Only somewhat intelligent people watch, painstakingly, as so many of us ARGUE WITH MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS ON THE MERITS OF WEARING A FUCKING MASK!  So we make fun of it and talk about other stuff. Its been a crazy few weeks and we're not even talking about current events. Remington had to move and it fucked our podcast schedule up in more ways than one. But alas, we have returned and should be on schedule for at least an episode or two.  We talk a lot about issues facing society today, with the general concensus that nothing works the way that it should. We are formally requesting that we revert to Viking justice and firmly believe that if we can spread the message far enough, a majority of people will come to agree with our ways. After accidentally permanently deleting the first episode we recorded for the week, which was obviously gold, here is our re-do.  Trains leave the station only to come back a minute later because they forgot their keys, is a metaphor, and not a very good one for one of these guys can never remember what he was talking about.  A little light hearted racism banter is on its way. Hello (insert wave), we're back. We've arrived. There is so much going on that what else would we talk about? Except that we're selfish and went on our own hero's journey and want to talk about that, first.  But then.... Our opinions on the riots might not be as popular as your friends' opinions on Facebook. We're gonna spew it anyway. We're all in on this one, cause why shouldn't we be burning buildings down? Does anyone understand protesting anymore? Where's the instruction manual?

Today's society has changed us. We are definitely still the supportive of your rights type of people, but our opinions might sound a little narrow visioned.  We want to be our kind of men. We really are dumb by design. On this episode we go from legalizing prostitution to religion and its nonsense, in very dramatic fashion.  Some of the in between consists of one of us feeding the other with a load of shit regarding being a dudest priest of the church of latter day dudes. Anybody need to renew their vows?  Few tangents and some really bad promotions for a supplement that we've never taken and might just be salt.  Check us out where ever you can type stuff.  

Is the grass really greener on the other side? Or does grass not have a real purpose and you should stay home with your garden. Sad thing is this isn't really a metaphor. We really discuss lawn maintenance cause why the fuck not?  Also, some people shouldn't own dogs, obviously. There once was a frog and a scorpion, we request a massive rewrite and Mr. Dorky (Sebastian Gorka) said that ole' Trumpy is an ALPHA male.
