I Used To Watch This?

It's our 5th Anniversary! What better way to celebrate by going back to were it all started with The Six Million Dollar Man. But, instead of a regular episode we skip ahead to the second TV movie after the show was over with the Bionic Showdown. In this movie Kate is a new, special bionic girl played by Sandra Bullock! They have to figure out who stole something from the Pentagon during a preview for the Unity Games. Oscar goes rogue during the episode, gets kidnapped, his nephew blown up and so much more. Mr. T plays T.S. Turner who was jailed for a crime he didn't commit and now works for a lawyer who got him out as an investigator. In this episode, they help a Vietnamese family who is being shaken down by some very young Chinese loan sharks or something. T.S. gets to the bottom of it and saves the day, of course. In this Special Episode, we compete to very similar episodes of classic TV shows. Starsky & Hutch's "Shootout" and The A-Team's "Without Reservations." Are they the essentially the same episode? In this first episode of Laverne & Shirley, the girls are invited to a high society part by the nephew of the Shotz brewery plant. Things go south when they need dresses and they rely on Lenny and Squiggy to get them. Turns out they are stolen and the party becomes a mess. The Fonz helps smooth things over and the girls leave with a little bit of dignity. We also talk about The Last of Us, Inside Man, Poker Face and You People. Laverne & Shirley discussion starts at 15 minutes. 

We see Bill possibly die in a large explosion to start the episode. But, when Ralph starts seeing visions of Bill being abducted, it's up to him and Pam to find Bill. They end up on an island in Mexico where a scientist wants to build an army of supermen, by using Bill's DNA!

An actress is found dead and all signs point to suicide at first. Then, there are some inconsistencies and the actress's mom says she was murdered by her lover who happens to be a congressman. He is also a friend of Quincy. A tabloid reporter is hot on the case and tries to prove it was the congressman because he hates the guy. Can Quincy get to the truth? Listen to find out! 

It's a Christmas miracle! We managed to get our Christmas episode out before Christmas. It's a double-header with The Brady Bunch where Carol loses her voice and can't sing and Three's Company where they pretty much do normal stuff. Check it out and thanks for a great 2022!

A dancer is found dead and it turns out she has some odd markings on her neck. Of course, since it is close to Halloween, Starsky thinks it is a vampire. So does Huggy Bear since he is selling some vampire slayer kits. Check it out too see what happens. 

The Harts are forced to take a train across the country due to a strike in the airline industry. Possibly the air traffic controller strike, it's hard to say. Anyway, the train happens to be filled with 70s TV stars and, of course, there is a murder. Lots of weird things happen that don't all make sense, but it is an interesting ride for sure. Check it out! 

Hawk is back in town for after leaving Spenser or something. In the first few days he is shot at, run over, a kid is hit by a car and he has to find and potentially kill and old friend. What a first week back home! 

Phil Collins guest stars on this Miami Vice episode as a "shill" who steals money from unsuspecting people. The episode begins with him as a game show host who ends up stealing from Crockett and Tubss' co-worker. Then he gets mixed up with a drug dealer that the guys are following. Crockett and Tubbs end up saving his life, but he gets away with a bunch of cash. Not a great episode, to be honest. 

A popular radio DJ is killed while live on air and David thinks it's a great case for the Blue Moon Detective Agency. Maddie is resistant at first, but then decides to go along with it after she listens to some recordings of the show. But, then the DJ turns out to be alive! Then someone else is killed and it has to be someone associated with the DJ. It's a little confusing, but a lot of fun! 

Rockford is on the case to help find out if a woman really died by suicide. At least that's what he thinks. It turns out the lady who hired him is a P.I. and trying to get the cops off her case. But, then it turns out the other lady was murdered and now the two P.I.s have to work together to clear their names. (special guest star Stefanie Powers. On Rockford, not our podcast.)Note: We talk a bit in the beginning about other shows. Rockford talk starts at approximately 10:20 if you want to skip ahead. 

Colt and Howie go down to get a bounty in Mexico who happens to be an old high school flame of Colt's. They end up crossing paths with a crooked Colonel who runs a the worst jail in all of Mexico and Mary gets thrown in there. Howie also gets thrown in the jail to help rescue her while Colt goes home to get a whole gang of friends to bust them out. 

Blake Carrington is a rich dude who gets what he wants. Right now he wants Krystle who is defintely not rich but good looking enough for him. He also has a son who he doesn't care for, and a daughter who doesn't like Krystle. It is an interesting family. 

Jonathan Chase is a man. But, also he can turn into animals. Somehow he uses this to fight crime and this week he is helping Detective McKenzie find some arms dealers who shot her partner. Check it out. Follow us on Twitter: @iused2watchthis 

The Ewings are a family of oil tycoons and ranchers. The Barnes's have been cheated out of what was theirs, or at least their share by the Ewings.
