Matt nearly died last year in Kona when a vehicle pulled out in front of him during the race. The injuries to his neck and throat were life threatening; it was a miracle he survived. Against all the odds Matt came back to race Kona 12 months later with a phenomenal 6th place performance.     This show Mark catches up with yet another awesome Yorkshire athlete Sam Dickinson. Sam Dickinson may have been a late starter to triathlon, but two years after his introduction to the sport, he was the British junior champion and topped the table at the British Triathlon Super Series in 2015. In 2016 he won silver at the ETU European Championships, and represented GB at the ITU World Championships. In 2018 he won silver in the U23 elite race at the ITU World Championships on the Gold Coast.
