We held our first ever Paddy Pigskin Book club session this week! Point of discussion: Tom Brady's new book the TB12 Method, full of nonsense and with virtually no medical or scientific references to back it up, naturally as a scientist I had to dive in and pick it apart with Barry. New Guest Alert! Week 3 saw the action heat up both on and off the field as points were put up on the board and points were made during the anthem. The fantastic Leah Cook; football fan and fellow cancer researcher, joins us this week to talk about the message behind the protests in the NFL, and proved to be a very informative segment. Deez Hoes Ain't Loyal! This week we welcome back onto the show sports journalist Steve O' Rourke from the 42.ie in Ireland. As he's a big Raiders fan we are breaking down the 4 games involving AFC West teams from Week 2 including the trials and tribulations of Chargers kicker YoungHoe. We also look ahead to Week 3 and hope to emulate last week's success and pick the winners of each of the 16 games. It's Paddy Prizefight this week! This week we had to include our expert (2 Barstoolers with a combined record of 0-0) analysis on the huge Floyd Mayweather v Conor McGregor fight in Las Vegas. Myself and Gerard O'Leary also chatted about our cracker of a day at the DraftKings Fantasy Sports Fest in Gillette Stadium. We got to chat with comedians/podcasters Michael Rapaport and Pat McAfee Inc. and meet the big man himself Rob Gronkowski -Gronk in rather fortunate circumstances.
