On a dramatic day at the historic Dutch track, rank outsider Jack Miller beat the best riders in the world and overcame some treacherous conditions to claim a shock victory for the Estrella Galicia satellite team. Marc Marquez took second place in the rain-interrupted race to extend his championship lead over title rivals Jorge Lorenzo, who finished 10th, and Valentino Rossi who crashed out when leading.
