Here's a new mixtape I made especially for Occupy the Disco (OXD). The title, "Makes Me Wanna Give It," is a nod to the Duke Dumont track, 'Giver' that has made the crowd go absolutely wild at previous OXD events (both Aeroplane and The Magician played the track at the climax of their sets). It all started when someone asked me the question: what songs would be on the soundtrack of your life? When it comes to feelings, i certainly am not the most articulate person. Summer 2010 was the best summer I've ever had. In fact, I still have a bit of a summer hangover so I've created a great "goodbye summer" mix. Our favorite artists such as Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Robyn are featured in stripped down, loungey versions of their songs--perfect "morning music" in my opinion.
