  • Let's Talk Ferguson

    01/12/2014 Duration: 25min

We've gotten messages asking us why we're not covering the Michael Brown/Ferguson riots issue, and some even accused us of ignoring it and not being a real 'Straight Talk' show tackling tougher subjects. There is no particular objection to covering this. Our host was out with bronchitis and once better we scheduled a Dream Weavers show for Dec. 4 at 3PM with David Mitchell of PMR Consulting - our usual air time is on Thursdays. Thanksgiving was a no go. Our goal with the Straight Talk Radio project is two-way dialogue, whether with a guest or our audience. Anyone can have a show dominated by hosts who become talking heads and we don't want to hear ourselves talk. So we put out a challenge to our Facebook page fans to click LIKE if they wanted us to do a show BUT but we said they had to commit to calling in and sharing their thoughts. There was enough response so here we are. Let's talk Ferguson. All opinions welcome but keep it clean and civil.
