Luke 18:31-34 - In Luke 18 Jesus prophesied about his own death. In this message we look at this prophecy and other prophecies and how they are the proof of the truth of the Gospel.

Luke 18:18-30 - Letting go and trusting in Gods grace can sometimes be challenging, we like to be in control. We try to fix problems ourselves but there are problems in life that we just can’t fix ourselves. In this message we look at a man who tried to create his own Utopia without God, it looked to everyone including himself like he was doing good, but was really devastating to real life, the life God offers us in relationship to Him.

Luke 18:15-17 - In Luke 18, Jesus is spotlighting the underdogs in his stories. In verses 15-17 Jesus is bringing kids into the picture. These days we often worship kids, we put them on a pedestal or even spoil them, but back in the day kids were treated like property with no rights. But there is more to this story, the gospel nudges us here to realize that we all start as newborns in our journey with Jesus.

Luke 18:9-14 - We often fall into this trap where we either consider ourselves to be utterly self-sufficient or we consider ourselves to be lacking. Either way we are setting our sights in the wrong direction, focused on either judging ourselves or others rather than turning to God for grace.

Luke 18:1-8 - In this week's message we look at the parable that Jesus told his disciple in Luke 18 about the persistent widow and look at what he wants us to learn about the importance of persistence when praying.

Luke 17:26-37:0 - The subject of the text in Luke 17:26-37 is very difficult. It speaks about what the condition of the world will be like when God comes back to bring His final judgement, but because Jesus loves us so much He wants us to be ready for that day, He tells us the truth even when it is uncomfortable.

Luke 17:20-25 - The cross of Jesus is often rejected or not liked. There are many people that will accept Jesus only when he speaks of love and fulfill their need of being loved, but do not accept Jesus as an authority over their lives.

Luke 17:11-19 - In Luke 17:11-19, Luke tells the story of 10 lepers who were healed. Nine of the lepers went away and did not thank Jesus. Only one leper came back to thank Jesus. Jesus said to this leper, "Your faith has saved you." The leper goes back to gratitude. In this message Pastor Ken asks the question, why do we need to go back to gratitude? Life can be full of disappointments. We live in a false world, and this greatly affects our attitude towards gratitude. And we have to keep reminding ourselves to repent or go back to gratitude.
