The End of the Rope With businesses crashing daily, or threatening to do so, and unemployment rates soaring around the world, many are feeling desolate and desperate. Ros and recorded this piece several years ago. I called it The End of the Rope, and I have been waiting the right time to release it. Let's pray it on behalf of many who are feeling under great pressure at this time and in need of a miracle from the Lord.

I have always loved the way Jesus declared on occasion, 'Marvel not that . . .' He is our Head, the One in whom all things hold together, our crowned king, and His 'Marvel nots! are like His 'verilys' - proclaiming truths we need to hear. These were the words that inspired a couple of reflections which we are glad to share with you. They make a very different sound from the endless updates on the spread of Corona, and bid us rather to contemplate the voice that goes out into all the earth, even to the ends of the world! I love the verse in Psalm 110:3 where it says that the Lord’s troops will be ‘willing on the day of battle.’ It is a powerful verse, although precisely what it means will vary for each of us according to our circumstances and calling. Nothing can be more important for any of us, though, than our willingness to serve the Lord, provided only that it be coupled to the much-needed perseverance to keep going when times are challenging. If willingness is a heart response of love to love, then perseverance is a dogged determination not only just to keep going but to go the extra mile whenever it is called for. May the Lord make us willing to persevere, and add perseverance to our willingness in order to see the Lord break through in one situation after another. May we be swift to volunteer for all the Lord directs our attention to, and strategic in our efforts.
